The last couple of days in San Fran were like a dream! I can’t believe how fast this trip went by! Had the opportunity to head up to Tomales Bay and Sonoma county Saturday, but before doing so I simply HAD to head to the ferry building to see what all the fuss was about. HOLLY!!! This market blew me away!! From the date stand to the ruby red tomatoes, the local seafood to the house smoked/house cured fish..I was in heaven!.;) The west coast has some incredible produce!
This sandwich was delicious! Porchetta baby! It was the first thing I ate Saturday morning..starting off your day like that..it can only get better. Just check out all that meat!! Dripping and basting one another..So Sexy! The porchetta was served with caramelized balsamic onions, and baby watercress on a fresh ciabatta. BEAUTY!
Bbq oysters from Marshall’s
After a delicious breaky it was time to head out of the city. Our first stop was Marshall’s. A Oyster spot right on the water. Totally casual. There was a long table of people eating oysters and drinking beer. My kind of place! So…that’s what we did. Raw oysters and bbq oysters. Freakin awesome! First time eating bbq oysters and now, I have a new obsession. After Marshalls we made our way to the next stop, the famous Hog Island Oysters.

The beer was heavenly!
After spending the day consuming copious amounts of beer and oysters there was only one thing left to do…ice cream baby! Found this local gem Petaluma Creamery. The peanut butter chocolate with the banana ice cream on top..incredible! This stuff was airy and so creamy. I want some now!
Had the most incredible time in San Francisco. I am already planning my trip back. 😉
