For those nights when you want to eat like a queen with a $10 bill at hand, we got you covered. And I’m not talking about slurping ramen over your kitchen sink, or hovering over a bland bowl of oatmeal. What about something like fried chicken in a buttermilk biscuit with coleslaw and gravy for $6.50 at Cheeky’s? Now you can pair it with a beer and still have change. Genius, I know. Here are just some of my top winners-
Living beside Chinatown definitely has its perks…there are more delicious cheap eats in this neighborhood to count!
I have been reading about Wah Fung #1 Fast food, a popular BBQ joint for years and finally made my way over (it was down the block from my place and I never put 2 and 2 together…lame). Here is one helping of the BBQ pork and rice at $5.50. Get ready to wait in line but also get ready to have a dish that will last you lunch and dinner….can you tell how excited I am?!? Let’s get our pork on.

Finally! A place that makes their own fresh corn tortillas. I swear the taco scene in NYC was needing some major help before Otto’s Tacos came along. An LA inspired grab-and-go taqueria that serves extra thick corn tortillas with dollops of guac is definitely going to make top my list. 2 tacos = $6.50

Saigon Vietnamese Sandwich Deli– House Special Banh Mi is on point! I spent a couple months backpacking through Southeast Asia, so I have tried my fair share of of Vietnamese Banh mi…this one is the most Authentic banh mi I have had since.
